One purpose sits behind everything Buneen Group does: ending Indigenous disadvantage within a generation. The Group is here to do it as one connected effort, not scattered fixes. Beneath it, two businesses and a charity each take on a part of the work: workplaces that hold people well, careers that last, and a strong start for the next generation. One method runs through all of them.
Buneen means echidna in the Yugambeh language: resilient, grounded, protective. The echidna mark is shared across every entity.
The problem
Most efforts pick one thing to fix. A hiring target here, a cultural workshop there. But workplaces, families, care and governance all shape each other, so changing one and leaving the rest just lets the old patterns pull people back. The work has to hold together, or it doesn't hold at all.

The method
Safety doesn't come from a poster on the wall. It gets built. The method starts with brave spaces, held by curious leaders, where honest conversations can actually happen. Real cultural and psychological safety grows from there, over time.
